Welcome to SABook (the "App"), a personal finance management application. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.

We believe in minimal data collection. Here's what we collect and why:

a. Account Information (Required)

• Full Name - To personalize your experience and address you properly.
• Email Address - Used only for account login and password recovery. We require @gmail.com addresses.
• Password - Stored securely using Firebase Authentication's industry-standard encryption. We never see your password.

b. Financial Data (Stored ONLY on your device)

• Income and expense transactions
• Categories you create
• Party/Payee names
• Payment methods (Cash/Bank Transfer)
• Account balances

c. Technical Information (Anonymous)

• Device model and OS version
• App version
• Crash reports (to help us fix bugs)
• Basic usage statistics

This data is collected anonymously via Firebase services and helps us improve the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Login & Authentication - To verify your identity and secure your account
• App Functionality - To display your dashboard, generate reports, and manage transactions
• Export Feature - To create PDF/CSV files of your transactions when you request them
• Notifications - To send important updates (only with your permission)
• App Improvement - To fix bugs and enhance performance
• Fraud Prevention - To detect and prevent unauthorized access attempts

3. Data Storage & Security

We implement multiple security measures to protect your information:

• Authentication Data - Stored on secure Firebase servers (ISO 27001 certified)
• Financial Data - Stored ONLY on your device. Never transmitted over the internet
• Export Files - Created temporarily in device cache, deleted after sharing
• Data in Transit - Encrypted using TLS/SSL protocols
• Local Storage - Android's secure SharedPreferences with file-based encryption

4. Third-Party Services

We use these trusted third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication (Google) - For secure login. Google Privacy Policy
• Firebase Crashlytics - For crash reporting (anonymous only)
• SharedPreferences - Android's local storage (no external transmission)

None of these services have access to your financial transaction data.

5. App Permissions

• Internet - Required for login, authentication, and checking connectivity. Your financial data is NOT transmitted.
• Notifications - Optional. For important alerts and reminders. You can disable anytime.
• Storage - For exporting PDF/CSV files (only when you initiate export).

6. Fraud Prevention & Security Measures

To protect your account and prevent fraud, we implement:

• Strong Password Requirements - Minimum 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, and numbers
• Email Domain Restriction - Only @gmail.com emails allowed to prevent fake/disposable emails
• Account Lockout - Multiple failed login attempts trigger temporary lockout
• Session Management - Automatic logout after inactivity
• Firebase Security Rules - Users can only access their own data
• No Data Collection - Your financial data stays on your device, preventing server-side breaches

7. Your Rights & Control Over Data

Export Your Data

You can export all your transactions to PDF or CSV format anytime from the Transactions screen.

Delete Your Data

• Reset Transactions Only - Clears all transactions, keeps categories and parties
• Reset All Data - Deletes all transactions, categories, and parties
• Delete Account - Contact us to permanently delete your account and authentication data

Disable Notifications

You can disable notifications anytime in Settings or your device settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete that information immediately.

9. Reward Points & 80% Discount Offer

SABook features a loyalty program that rewards active users. The following terms apply:

• Earning Points: Users can earn reward points by referring new active users to the app.
• 80% Discount: Earned points can be redeemed to unlock a massive 80% discount on any Premium subscription plan.
• In-App Value Only: Reward points and the 80% offer are promotional benefits with no cash value. They cannot be withdrawn, sold, or converted into real currency.
• Account Verification: We may verify referral activity to ensure fair play. Points earned through fraudulent or duplicate accounts will be forfeited.

💳 10. Billing & Subscriptions

We collect limited payment-related information to process premium subscriptions:

• Premium plans are processed securely through Google Play Billing. We do not store your payment card details.
• Subscription status is stored in Firestore to enable premium features.
• Reward points used for premium redemption are non-refundable.
• Promotional 80% offers have no direct cash value and are separate from Google Play purchases.
• We reserve the right to suspend rewards or premium benefits in cases of fraud, abuse, chargebacks, or policy violations.
• All premium purchases and redeemed rewards are final and non-refundable once processed.

11. Advertisements(Ads) & AdMob

Our App displays third-party advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's Advertising ID and basic usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can manage your ad preferences or opt-out of personalized ads through your device's Google settings. For more information, please review the Google Ads Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this policy periodically.
